Big Disappointment for Automotive Pros

After trying this slide hammer for body repair, I was left disappointed .The grip is slippery and it doesn't provide enough power to pull out tough dents. The only good thing is that it's lightweight but that's hardly helpful in the field. I would not recommend this product to anyone in the auto repair industry..

Pros
  • Can be used with other GearWrench tools to create a versatile pulling system.
Cons
  • Requires additional components in order to function properly.

There's an over-the-counter brand that's usually $20 less. deprived.

This is not a prong wrench, this is OTC. This is the equivalent of selling a toolkit rig and acquiring a master or stanley. As a do-it-yourself mechanic, I love organizing my workshop and pride myself on having almost all of my gear wrench tools rather than a bunch of incompatible brands. You can say they all do the same thing, but when you buy your next car/truck, pay 50 grand and get a Dodge Neon instead of a Dodge Ram 3500, don't complain. You can always put a 2×4 on the roof and it will…

Pros
  • Regular thread 5/8"-18 fits many pullers and attachments that use a regular 5/8"-18 jackscrew
Cons
  • Some issues
