Better than the master

Great set for on the go and at home. I actually bought this set to complete some of my chrome sockets that I never use to fill in empty spots in my tool trolley.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Negative gift

Good tool at a reasonable price

These are very good sockets on a very good track. I can't say anything bad about them at all. The fit and finish is not as perfect as that of top tool trolley manufacturers, but it doesn't have to be. Either way, you're still going to drop them on your garage floor or driveway.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • No instructions

There are better ones, but not at this price. Good business.

Honestly you won't find anything better than this set for the money. They are well made, there is actually a steel ball stop in the mount to hold each socket and the socket itself is well designed. This kit has the front end ripped off and not a single ripped nut or bolt

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Expensive

Poor quality control/warranty issues

19mm head - factory defect. Doesn't even fit in a socket wrench. It's hard to find someone to replace him. The gear wrench website lists many stores that should sell them. Visited 2 of them without the dice so far. They are not even sold in a specific store in a specific location. Unsatisfied. Not happy at all. I am sure that I will buy sockets from another manufacturer.

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • High price

Excellent quality at an excellent price.

I have purchased many Gearwrench socket and ratchet sets over the years and have only had great service, "0" warranty issues. I also bought a couple of Gearwrench hand wrenches to complement my old professional wrenches and the quality has been fantastic. If you're tired of paying outrageous prices for a Tool Truck branded tool, you should definitely give Gearwrench a try.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

Good for home use and beginner tools

Decent set of sockets at a good price. Good ending. Respectable landing. Anyone who is used to Snap On and still works professionally with keys will be disappointed. If you're new to the industry and get a starter kit, you won't be disappointed. If you're retired or no longer in the industry, or maybe working in the dirt or on the streets, you'll find that they work well. I intend to complete the car key set if my snap on tools never go away.

Pros
  • No corner stress design reduces fastener rounding
Cons
  • Price Piggy Bank

BIG TOOLS for hand tools

I like to think I know my tools having used them in my workshop for over 22 years. The only tools I bought were a Snap or Mac tool. Now that I have sold my store and found that various sizes are missing, I have decided to buy the sizes that I am missing. For the price I found in these sets I only bought the complete sets. I'm used to paying 300 for a set. Didn't expect much from cheap instruments. Now that I've been using them, I've found they're just as good for a tenth the price. I highly…

Pros
  • Double ring (SAE) and knurled ring (metric) for easy identification of standard and metric sockets
Cons
  • Not sure

Chrome finish Looks great

Looks like a good value set. I've used several of these with no complaints. The numbers stamped on the sockets are large, but not deep enough to create enough contrast to be read well by my 60 year old eyes. The embossing of the number also does not match between each rosette. I just needed a new set to replace my 30 year old set (which was well used and occasionally abused) in my BACKUP toolbox. The plastic holder is too long for the product and only fits in my drawer at an angle. I'm sure…

Pros
  • Hard stamped size markers
Cons
  • Doubtful
