Good fit and quality

These are quality sockets. worth your money. I was pleasantly surprised at the fit and feel. Much higher quality than port freight tool. In addition, they have a good outlet organizer.

  • Impressive
Cons
  • Available in black only

Great value for money

I am a home/workshop mechanic with over 40 years of experience. Aside from the snap-on tools, which cost over 10 times as much, this is the only brand I use. Excellent quality. .I have several sets of combination / long patterns and others.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Compatible

Very strong but that's ok

This 3/8 socket set is definitely in the heavy category and also feels a bit larger in hand than pictured but should be ok. I bought on this condition, but the price is right

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Some cons

Great socket set

Great set. The rail that comes with the sockets is very good quality, the clips ride in the rail which seems to make it more stable. The outlets themselves are great. This is a great addition as the design keeps the shutter closer to the end for easier launching.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Useless features

Gear wrench 3/8 sockets

As a mechanic it's time to buy new deep sockets, I like the 3/8 drive as it allows me to get into hard to reach places on the engine that you couldn't reach with 1/2 drive well done and the included pedestal stand is too high quality, too bad it's not made in America as I'm sure you could make it as good as Taiwan

Pros
  • Annual trial period
Cons
  • There are imperfections

Broke on first use in sockets

I love their design and they look great even at a great price. I thought it would be a good set for my service truck as an extra set of metric deep wells, but after the first use, literally seconds from starting use, it broke. He split. I couldn't believe how easily it broke. Maybe it's an accident, I don't know, but I'm sending them back.

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Gearwrench great

If you're looking for a much cheaper alternative to the big brands (Snap-on, Mac, Matco) Gearwrench has never let me down. When I first got into the auto repair shop I started with a set of transmission sockets and still use them all. They come with a lifetime guarantee which after years of beating I may have used it twice. Great quality great product

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • wrinkled

Excellent sockets at a reasonable price

These are very good professional level sockets on a nice rail. For the price I would buy them for the whole day. I can't say anything negative about them. I've read at least one review here that said they were as good as snap-on sockets, but that's absolutely not true. The fit and finish of these outlets aren't up to that standard, but they're only part of the price.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Beware! The sockets have a very shallow gap

I don't understand why the gear wrenches chose to make their deep sockets with a very small gap. Their medium-length heads have an almost full cleft. You would think they would match their socket sets. I think warranty issues are why everyone starts buying Tekton products. So if you decide to buy this deep set anyway, I highly recommend you have a backup set with deep or full break sockets as you will likely need it.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No finish

Good quality for the price

GearWrench offers perfect value for money. It would be nice if it was still possible to buy quality American tools for a low price, but the options are becoming fewer and fewer without the arms and legs that cost most weekend warriors' budgets. I had an old Craftsman set that came with one of their large sets but had a fairly limited selection of deep sockets. After years of looking for ways to do this with missing sizes I finally broke down and bought this set, buying individual sockets to…

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
