Works well. Best in Power & Hand Tools

Pretty basic, they seem good quality, so far I've only used one size but it has worked well. I only wish they would make this "kit" with 1/4 drive as well.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Low Price Doesn't Mean Bad Quality

I used to buy snap-on tools but now I understand that cheaper tools can also stand up to the punishment. Now I can buy a new truck with the money I saved without buying the tools. :)

Pros
  • Few Competitors
Cons
  • Quality

High-quality universal sockets!

This is a great set of universal sockets. High quality materials that allow me to work on my BMW without having to worry about the tool standing up to physical abuse or abuse. Excellent purchase!

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

They're bulky but not bad

Worked on a 1.4 Cruze Turbo, all Cruzes need a turbo, that's the most common work I use This. Remember these are pivot pins, not floating pins or pinless swivels made by Matco/Danaher.

Pros
  • Highly polished chrome finish is easy to wear and resists corrosion
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

A bushing is not custom made; poor quality control

In the picture I'm pointing to an E10 plug, but it's actually an E9 size, the same size as the plug next to it. (Of course I bought this set for E10.) Indicates poor quality control. Shame on GearWrench.

Pros
  • Universal joint allows better access
Cons
  • Large and bulky

I recently left the workshop where I serviced all makes and models to work in a dealership where I service almost exclusively German cars. This meant my old Harbor Freight E-Torx heads quickly proved inadequate. I sold a good set of universal E-torx sockets in every tool cart and couldn't believe they were charging a whopping $50 a head! The kit does the job and costs less than a truck plug with a big red S on the side.

Pros
  • Stamped size label
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
