This countersinking set is a must-have for any professional cutting tools kit. As my tests showed, the bits stay sharp even after multiple uses and easily drill through metal and wood, leaving a clean finish. The adjustable collar on the bit allows for precise depth control. However, the bits tend to snap if too much force is applied, so caution must be taken. Overall, a great addition to any industrial and scientific tool collection.

Pros
  • Efficiently deburrs and countersinks in one step.
Cons
  • Easy to lose or misplace one of the three pieces.

I bought them for my shop.

They work very well, the only downside is that for heavier metals and/or large drills the shank needs to be at least 3/8 inch thick.

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

The manufacturer claims that the material these bits are made from is high speed steel, but high speed steel does not dull easily and will work fine with hardened material metals are processed. . They didn't even withstand two uses on steel, quickly became dull and later refused to work on wood either. Not very happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other cutters
