Broke after about 5 uses. And I was so careful with it!

I ordered this against my better judgment after reading other reviews. This is the cheapest PH tester after all and I figured if I was very careful it might last a year. I was wrong! It took all 5 uses, the digital screen stopped working and I was left with $50 of useless plastic junk. The expensive pens I had were in no way superior to this $50 pen. For the money this is the best pen I have ever used. I've had it for about 6 months and it stays calibrated for a long time - and easily and accurately recalibrates itself when needed (rarely more than 0.2 drift). Many more expensive pens have…
