Replaced the old lightbulbs in my horsebox with these and they are very bright! So far so good with these lamps. These bulbs replace some 1141 bulbs. The output color is definitely whiter than the 1141. I've attached a few photos showing the light output of both bulbs. The camera's exposure settings were fixed for both photos, so you can decide which bulb is brighter. I think the LED bulb is a bit brighter than the 1141. WARNING! CANNOT "FIT" WITHOUT MODIFICATION! I've already started the "reverse" as they just didn't fit the reverse lamp socket on our Chevy Astro Van 98 which uses the 1156 socket for its reverse lamps. My main concern was that in my trailer one bulb in the cab is reverse polarity and the other is standard (tested with a multimeter). I've had several 1156 LED bulbs that failed in a reverse socket, which is due to the nature of LEDs, but research shows that higher quality LEDs can use either polarity with the correct "drivers".
