NOT compatible with Original Bose Sound Dock

This will NOT work with Original Bose Sound Dock. Buyer Warning! I am a core member and Revane has indicated that this item is non-refundable. So - buy at your own risk. I bought an almost identical cable to go with it - from Revain - a few years ago and it worked great for a couple of years. this one - well I bought two because I don't know how much longer they will be available as the Bose Sound Dock is so outdated - and NOT ONE cable will work. And now I'm stuck on both. I wish you luck.

Functionality BMW-Dice

I took a chance and tried this with the Dice iPhone/iPod interface installed by my previous owner. I-Jack simply paired, 3.5mm connected to Note II headphone jack, Pandora One works great. Luckily for me, Good Bye to the UK horror show ads have evolved into today's national radio stations. Obviously it will be necessary to "skip" songs on the phone if necessary, I think I can handle that. Updates with (possible) premature wear issues other reviewers have posted as this will be in a 365 car inโ€ฆ

I wish this would work.

I was very happy to find this product online as previously I could not find a cable to connect to the 30 pin socket in the armrest of my 2009 VW Jetta to play music from my iPhone. After plugging the device into my car, the plastic wrap around the cable fell apart - even when plugged in, the cable didn't register with my car, rendering it unusable and broken. I'm disappointed it didn't work and feel like I should have ordered 5 more to see how one works and the others come back. I should haveโ€ฆ

Works great but without a case on my phone

This cable fits an old iPhone 4 connector I installed in my car. I plug this cable into an old connector and plug it into the headphone jack on my iPhone 6. It works great and the sound is as expected. I waited a week for it to arrive but I knew it would take time. These products work as expected and I will use them every day to listen to music from my phone in the car, but I will not buy them again. About every 6 months I have to replace this cable due to daily use/wear and tear and packaging.

Fits 2009 Jetta with lame iPod dock

This cable is EXACTLY as described. I have a 2009 VW Jetta with a poorly designed iPod dock in the armrest. iPhone is not accepted. If you use an iPod, it will only play the first 6 playlists. But this cable solves the problem. Plug it in and play the sixth track on the CD. Presto! Full access to all your music. I've seen other solutions but this cable is by far the cheapest and easiest to use. You should sell them at the VW Service Center! No, it doesn't charge an iPhone, but who cares? Theโ€ฆ

Yes, this is what you are looking for!

I have a Jetta '07 with an iPod connection in the armrest. It was great until I got an iPhone. iPhone won't dock. The car does not have an AUX connection like most new cars. For the past few years I've been trying to figure out how to connect my iPhone to my car stereo. I've used FM stations which work fine until you drive too far and the FM radio starts interfering. I bought a Revain Charge and Audio Extension cable last month and it wouldn't let me control the iPod app and limit the songs toโ€ฆ

Works perfectly in my 2009 VW Jetta but poor quality cable

I wish I had known about this product a year ago. It works great in my 2009 VW Jetta which has an iPod interface in the center armrest. The factory iPod interface required you to control your iPod/iPhone through the car stereo's CD changer and was a nightmare to navigate. Now with this cable I can just put my car stereo in CD changer mode by double clicking the CD button and it will show the CD on track 1 of disc 6 giving me full control from my iPhone. It works great with all my apps including

Addendum to "Worked 4 months before no sound from left speakers "

I left a very grateful and positive review comment back in April right before I bought it. This review praised this product for running great in the 2009 Jetta. This was a very influential review as it accurately described my situation with my 2009 GTI and the inconvenience of the iPod/iPhone dock in the center armrest. (It is almost impossible to connect your Apple device to it without an adapter cable). This is the second cable I've tried and it worked great until two days ago. So overallโ€ฆ
