I ordered several of these for my class. Some have me fumbling with the battery end cap before they read. But about what I expected for the money.

I bought one over a year ago and I love it. That's why I gave.

Bought as a Christmas present for children. You haven't given me any feedback yet. I bought one over a year ago and I love it. That's why I gave them away. I really like the longer probe on this thermometer, you won't burn your fingers checking the temperature of food on the grill. Instant reading is the only way out.

Cheaper doesn't always mean cheap.

I received this thermometer as a gift when we bought the grill cover. First it gave excellent readings, I would compare it to old school instant read thermometers and the ThermPro TP-18S. I would have 3-4 thermometers in the same piece of meat to see if they can see if they are accurate. I had more success with this thermometer than with the expensive ThermPro! In the end, this one just stopped reading, and even with a new battery, it didn't come back to life. I'm in Revain looking for…

You get what you pay for

I bought this product because it is a much cheaper version of the popular thermometer sold at Revain. one from the local store. The battery is known by different part numbers depending on the manufacturer, but is most commonly referred to as an LR44 or A76 battery. When I put the battery in for the first time, the thermometer would not turn on. Eventually I found that the battery was very loose in the thermometer. The metal spring in the cap that serves as the battery contact was not fully…
