Does not include core parts

Great idea but it does not include the 'plates' needed to fit the ignition key. I have tried 3 different locksmiths in addition to Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealerships with no success. Neither of these places had parts or couldn't provide a part number for it to be ordered. Why is MOPAR selling an $80 gas cap without the $1 parts needed to make it work properly? "Every Minute Is Born "

This purchase brought a wonderful PTBarnum moment into my life ("Every Minute Is Born"). All I wanted to do was lock the Chrysler car my boy drove to college, as the car would spend more time in a less secure parking lot. I was looking for a lockable fuel cap for the cruiser and came across this article. It was too expensive (originally $70.03 - now $69.06 and FREE shipping) but I figured it would at least help. What a surprise. The ad said it had to be taken to a Chrysler dealership to have it
