Not maintaining water temperature

My unit only lets water through. Whatever motor is in it will turn on for about 5 seconds and then turn off, during which time the temperature of the water in the device will rise sharply. I have not been able to contact the company regarding this issue and now my production on my laser machine is at risk of being shut down until I find another water chiller.

Cons
  • Minor issues

Great price for a great chiller

This is a famous brand of S&A CW-5000 Active Chiller. The item was shipped the same day I ordered it and arrived within 3 days. The Revain cost was $150 less than I could find anywhere else. I use this cooler to cool my 65w Boss LS 1620 laser and it does the job perfectly. I had no problems at all with this device. I simply added distilled water, connected the water hoses to the laser and turned it on.

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • Nothing

Quiet and works great

I use a 65W CO2 laser for cooling. The pump is so quiet I didn't think it was working. Cooling is fast and reasonable in terms of noise levels; not disturbing. it's quiet compared to my exhaust fan and compressor. Programming the setup is cumbersome and requires patience. Follow the instructions verbatim and you will get the setup of advanced mode. I'm glad it only takes one install. I added a base with wheels to make it easier to move around the store.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Fits

An essential item for ANY laser system.

This device is considered one of the best. This is very important for CO2 laser systems as it increases the lifespan of the laser tube. The water bucket just doesn't work. It cools the water with cold. Also, the price here is excellent. Many will pay $200 more elsewhere for the same device. This is a genuine S&A brand, not a fake. Fakes suck. S&A blocks are more reliable and better finished. They also last longer.

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

have a direct impact on the life and performance of the CO2 tube - as performance increases, the cost of replacing the tube increases sharply. All recommendations pointed to the CW-5000 series and S&A products. I chose the CW-5200DH (upgraded 5200DG) and was not disappointed. It arrived very well packaged. Installation and setup was very easy. I referenced a couple of YouTube videos on how to set it up and chose Fixed Temperature mode instead of the default Smart mode. I wanted to start by…

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

After 6 months - still happy but have suggestions

Got this for my 80w Chinese laser 6 months ago. I don't work on it all the time, only when necessary (4-6 times a week for about an hour per session). I live in the middle of the Atlantic so heat and humidity are an issue. I would suggest buying insulated supply and return hoses to reduce condensation. There weren't any instructions on how to work, so you'll have to find some videos (it's not intuitive). It's not quiet, NOT recommended for a home office, but definitely doesn't need hearing…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
