I used this on my 2006 Nissan 350z and it fits like a charm with no problems and is really well made. It didn't help much with my static issues, but it did help a little. At this point I think it's my wiring issues. Overall looks and works well.

Just buy this one for your S2k, I've tried others and they fell off easily when washing my S2k because others just slipped a rubber antenna over the receiver's brass spring. It's nice to look at, but don't touch it. OEM lasted 17 years, bought this for another 17 years.

Aftermarket billet aluminum short antennas have very poor radio reception and are stiff. If someone leans on your antenna, they will ruin your wing. This antenna has a coiled cable inside that gives similar reception to the MX-5 OEM antenna, looks better than Mazda's OEM antenna and is flexible unlike those short pieces.
