2014 A5 OEM Style - Fuel Cap

Got rid of the check engine light. After 6-7 years, the rubber can deteriorate. First bought a cheaper cap. Material and markings were far away. That's why I invested in this device.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Hard to tell

PERFECT REPLACEMENT

My original Audi Q5 had a broken belt so I bought this replacement. A pair of pliers was enough to remove the old tape. I installed a new one right away. Happy with this product.

Cons

This is OEM for 2012 Q5

Very happy with the product. I replaced the original because the small bracket broke in half. Got a new gas cap and it fitted perfectly and had no issues with the warning lights after installation. Great product and certainly cheaper than at the dealer!

Works as standard

I bought this for a 2008 VW Passat even though I was told it wouldn't fit. However, this did not solve the problem with the PCV system leak code P0442. I traced it back to a check valve installed near the front of the engine that I bought locally. Since then, the fuel cap light hasn't come on.

  • Impressive

Great price/perfect fit

Bought for my 2013 Audi A7. The original strap was worn and cracked at some point. The price was very reasonable (especially compared to retail price!$$$) and I was able to change the cap and band in about 5 minutes with a pair of pliers. Looks amazing and works like a charm!

Pros
  • Superb construction
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Fixed MIL bulb on my Audi A4

This cap is a replacement for the original fuel cap on my 2014 Audi A4. After the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light) came on on my dashboard, I investigated the cause of it. A google search suggested the gas cap was loose. I took the car to a local shop and they said the cap was holding the pressure and that I needed to replace the pressure sensor that was part of the fuel pump. So they replaced the $820 fuel pump and then the light came on again. 4 days later. Luckily the store has a good…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
