Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I have been using this switch for over a year now and it hasn't let me down. The installation was a breeze, and it has been working perfectly ever since. The build quality is great, I could tell it's genuine Toyota parts, and it performs just as well as the original.

Removing the connector was a little tricky, but the cover that houses the connector is easy to break off to reveal the wired connector which is inserted into the bracket on the bottom left. Just unplug that connector, then plug the back of the derailleur you just installed into the removable plate, then put the plate back in and you're done.

Required component to add plug and play lights to the Tacoma truck bed. This 2021 Tacoma already had the wiring harness, relay, and fuse. The required switch was missing. Removing the panel with the factory installed plug/knockout was easier than I thought. Everything worked with the built-in switch. The LED bulbs I ordered from Revain went straight on, plugged in and worked exactly as expected when the switch was installed.
