I bought this not expecting it to work but with two trash drawers I gave it a try. I've been using this device for about 4 months and it seems to be doing a pretty good job of removing odors! It doesn't remove them completely, but it certainly makes it better! I think a lot depends on how big the room is, so take that into account. It makes fan noise and blue light during operation, but it's not annoyingly loud, I really like the sound. I would buy again.

I'll admit I was skeptical that this would actually do anything about the cat litter smell. To our great surprise and delight, it WORKS. We have a litter box in a large closet in the hallway. There is an outlet in the closet and we put this lamp there.
