Structural integrity questionable

Nice color, structural integrity questionable, severe cracking and chipping. Some of the wool wasn't very attached, so I felt it. I felt it in the washing machine before knitting, but the structure is still questionable in some places. I hand knitted the blanket on my lap and I only used up about 3-4 pounds and I have plenty left and the blanket is heavy!

It's not wool, it feels synthetic.

Just received a few days ago. Something about that bothered me. It was vacuum packed and appears to be a lot smaller than it should be for £8 but there was something else I couldn't figure out. It just amazed me. Odor. Doesn't smell like real wool at all. I continued the project as I didn't have time to get a replacement but the product is mislabeled.

Cons
  • Long delivery time

Big disappointment. Terrible material and not even wool.

I wanted this merino wool for felting. I got it, looked at it, and then hid it until I was ready to feel it. Not only is it not merino, it's not even wool. It's like fiberglass insulation. Complete failure of the project. Little did I know I only have a month to return it. If I paid with Pay Pal I will dispute this order. This is not merino wool. It's a shitty chemical fiber. It's disgusting.

money thrown away. Not 100% wool.

I decided to try it based on the good reviews but in the end I was disappointed. Wool doesn't smell or feel. I needed this for a felt project. When it didn't feel right, I contacted the seller. He told me it was 20% acrylic but now I believe it has more acrylic in it. Now it just sits in a bag and the money is wasted. I'm sure this is a great buy if you don't want 100% wool but don't trust the description. I tried returning it but the seller told me it would be expensive to send back and…

Pros

Cons
  • Unreliable

I knew it was a rollator when I bought it. That's what I wanted. But if you're expecting "yarn" then this is NOT what you need. Yarn consists of several twisted strands that are twisted (wrapped) together. Roving are combed fibers of wool collected in a loose strand that can be easily torn and separated. Roving can be used to spin yarn, but it is not yarn in this form. Reviewers who complain about this roving falling apart and the fibers falling apart are experiencing first hand what a roving…
