Does not match what is advertised on the market

You might think that a motherboard that claims to be compatible with your processor is actually compatible. Despite being marketed as compatible with the 3rd Gen Ryzen processor, a BIOS update is required before it can even boot. This wouldn't be too much of a problem if it supported Flashback, but it doesn't.

Great budget board

I bought this board to build my father a new system to replace his aging Dell Optiplex 210 512GB and EVGA 430W power supply. I connected everything to the board on the test bench because trying to be smart I went to power it up. and nothing happened. I checked all my connections, looked for any visuals that could identify the problem, turned it back on and again nothing happened. I ended up spending 4 hours testing all the variables and literally the only thing that…

Warning Before You Buy

Be careful which processor you buy. Mine shipped with the first version of BIOS version F1. Search Gigabyte on the website and see if your CPU is compatible with F1 BIOS. Just assume it's not updated. Please try, I've done it and lets just say my 5600G doesn't show the power button, doesn't respond to shutdown even when held down with no splash screen even when the monitor was detected. I actually made the mistake of setting up a refund and ordering another one before thinking about the CPU…
