They won't stick to any shirt with the right glue. Used Starbond Toughened Medium Thick CA. Superglue is for low pressure not required but once it's above 20psi I had to glue it in as the system has it set at 65psi./8" in my water flow so it lags the water temp by about 3-5 degrees but given or temperature over time matches other thermometers, including the Fluke thermocouple, to within 1°F. The downside is that the conversion takes anywhere from 1/8 second to 7/8 second depending on the…

Easy to use, well designed

They were very easy for me to set up. I used the milesburton/DallasTemperature library which requires paulstoffregen/OneWire. The example from the library worked fine. My job requires three sensors, so it was nice to find that all three can use the same Aruino/ESP pin. All three red wires to 5V, all three black wires to ground, and all three yellow wires to my data pin - this makes the wiring nice and easy. Note that the data pin requires a 4k7 or 5k pullup resistor. Only one, no matter how…

Easy to use, usually reliable

We have used them to monitor and control experimental aquariums. Several of these sensors hung in salt water for several months without any problems. There is only one negative - sometimes it gives false readings of -127C (which is likely to happen if the value overflows or the bits are all zeros). I don't think it's a malfunction as it's probably caused by electromagnetic fields or leakage currents from other devices. However, it would be nice to have a way to prevent this. Other researchers…
