Holes after one ride

I usually like Giro socks, I have several pairs of these but both socks had small holes in the thumb after one ride. The team socks they make seem to be more durable, but unfortunately also more expensive.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Clarity

Be careful . Got a hole after three rides

Love these socks but they are very light. After just three rides I had a hole in my thumb. Unfortunately the seller didn't allow returns so I was stuck with a useless pair of socks.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Loads of stuff

Giro Comp Racer High Rise cycling socks

I love these socks. I love their simple design (grey and black go with everything). Good quality. My foot size is 10-10.5. The large fits well but I wish the compression was a little firmer. I would buy them again.

Pros
  • Free for Training
Cons
  • Safety

Good socks, durability questionable.

These Giro socks are great for warm weather bike rides. They are thin and fit my cycling shoes well without causing friction. After a few washes, one of my pairs had a few small scuffs on the inside of the heel. No idea if use or production. Overall I like them but not the best socks in my drawer.

  • Great construction

Total waste of money

I'm not in the habit of writing negative reviews but I expected much better quality from this brand at this average price. A half-inch hole formed on the big toe of the right foot after one ride. Classic $3 Target socks hold up better than these. Cool design but these missed the mark. I wish I had paid more attention to other reviewers who had the exact same issue.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

DON'T SPEND MONEY! Never used

Like a few other reviews. These socks cost next to nothing. Today I put them on for the first time at a casual 5K pace. BOTH thumbs now have holes. The toe is SUPER thin. You can see your toes through the thin material. It's a shame because I really liked her from the start. I should have trusted the reviews but I really like how they look in the photos.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Do not buy! Holes after 1 ride. Very Tight

DO NOT BUY. As others have complained, a hole formed on the big toe after a few rides. In addition, the cuffs are very narrow. I also bought XL. I'm nowhere near fat and I don't have massive calves and they're barely big enough to fit on. These are very light and thin socks designed for racing. That doesn't excuse the hole. I have racing socks from Castelli, Louis Garneau and Bontrager and none of them have holes.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
