Looks good but too small

11 - EU size 44 which seems wrong. The dials I've seen show 11=45. Love the style and they look like they're high quality. Unfortunately I have to send them back because they are too tight.

  • Few competitors

Special "Tuck in Lace " feature!

I'm slim US 11.5 bought a pair for 47 euros. Was a little concerned about the laces in the chainring but the photos don't (and shouldn't) show the built in feature of an elastic strap halfway up the tongue to tuck in the ends of the laces. Brilliant function! I love her!

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Very convenient. on Shoes

These shoes are very comfortable. I've been using them every day for about a month. They are great for running because you have to run. They are pretty water resistant. I live in PNW and wore them through heavy spring showers and got my feet very slightly wet. Less than that and I wouldn't worry.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Little things

Good value but broke after 10,000 miles

I've worn these shoes for 10,000+ miles for commuting and extensively on weekends. They fit well and look good, suitable for work. But the soles didn't last as long as my Louis Garneaus, and the left spike mounting plate just broke, leaving the cleat stuck to the pedal. They should have lasted longer.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Not the best

The sole is quite flexible

I like the shoes in everything, but the sole is quite flexible. I have Giro Empire shoes and the two soles are very different. There's a reason for that - I think some cross riders like softer soles - but for my taste they are too flexible. But I will continue to drive them. It's a solid product and it's just a preference.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Appearance

Great sneakers for town and bike paths

These are my first cycling shoes (just switched to non-contact pedals), which makes me very happy! You'll probably want a different pair by the time you hit 100k tours, but they're perfect for city riding and bike trails on my gravel bike. The big plus is that the shoe looks and performs like a regular sneaker that you might wear in a shop or pub. (I pair them with a pair of Crank Bros Candy 2 pedals.)

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • not bad

Good shoes for the price

I figured I could save about $100 by buying these instead of the Empires for commuting. Giro claims the only difference is the outsole, while the Empires are carbon fiber, they are plastic. Accordingly, the only real difference I've noticed is that the outsole isn't as stiff as the Empire. It's something you might notice when you jump out of the saddle to tackle a hill, but the commute to work isn't a race. Same great comfort sole and upper shape as the Empires. I could wear them all day asโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Expensive
