Quality means comfort

(1) I like merino wool. (2) Giro makes good products. (3) I have tried many wool socks on my Lake CX176, Lake CX401 and MX237 (sorry I can wear Giro shoes because of the narrow last) and without a good quality merino wool sock I constantly feel my feet while riding. Giro socks keep me from thinking about my feet and I've been running an average of 120 miles a week since January 21st. volume

It's not for me, dude. Everything else I still buy Giro.

I honestly love the Giro Prodi but this sock didn't live up to my expectations. Let me start by saying that the Giro merino wool winter socks are fantastic! These season socks had a very annoying seam on the inside that was rubbing my toes the wrong way, same feeling I have with Defeet socks. Very disappointed after the winter socks were fantastic. I also mentioned that I love Giro products because they all fit, so we will. Helmet, winter and summer gloves, shoes! I just don't like these socks.

Now I have used them on several trips and in different weather temperatures. I'm surprised at how comfortable they feel in the hot summer temperatures and I'm sure they will work in the Southern California winter. The wool material catches easily on branches or plants when I'm riding off-road, but no holes have been made. I will definitely…

The size is sooo big!

I carefully used the size chart to find the right size. I'm a size 36 EU so thought the small size might be a bit roomy for me as 36 is the lower end of the small range. But when they arrived, they were ridiculously large. For example, my partner's dress, whose size 43 fits perfectly (which according to the size chart should be large), fit my partner. Compare photos of my partner in a sock and me. Please note that my heel cup is above the Achilles tendon. When I put my cycling shoes on the…
