When a design is wrong from the start, it's bound to fail. I ride the Ninebot Kickscooter Max through Manhattan. A+ ev, rear fender was changed 4 times in the last year. It must be a metal part of the body! Take off and drive without. Be Batman!

I don't know if it's just a design flaw or what could be the first day I rode my scooter after installing this new fender. I added a little boost hoping it would stop it from spreading. It should be noted that I switched to solid rubber tires on my scooter, which makes the ride much rougher than with pneumatic tires.

Doesn't come with an internal bracket to hold the cable in place, hardware (screws) or a locking tab, but otherwise it is A great shell if you can salvage your old parts. A simple install takes about 20 minutes if you've never done it before. It would be 5 stars if it came with 2 key parts which I understand don't have a brake light but the other 2 are plastic.

Installed in minutes. All dimensions fit perfectly. Easy. And probably a better choice of plastic than the original. But we have to admit that the original plan is not perfect. If you really want this to last, this should be the version that comes with the axle strut mount. 5 stars for a replacement that is considered a consumable item.

Broke after only 2 weeks of use. Be sure to purchase rebar with this. It fits but the material strength is really poor compared to the standard Ninebot Max. The original took me 5 months, crashing about 5 times. This one hasn't survived 2 weeks of light use, no falls and no hard riding. I carried the scooter up and down the stairs a total of 10 times before it broke.

This fender is made from very cheap flexible plastic and is a different shade of gray to the original fender (which looked ridiculous on a scooter). While driving, it wobbles and dangles everywhere. The rear light is so dim as if it weren't there, it's almost invisible even at night. I had it on my Ninebot Max for the entire 32 days before it broke, just outside the return window. I hit a normal bump in a parking lot at about 10 mph, heard a click and then heard the sound of the wheel spinning…

Plastic is cheap and brittle. I unscrewed the center tap in the fender molding using a standard screwdriver with minimal effort. Note that the quality is not up to par. hoping for the best. Even without the center screw in the wing the part feels solid thanks to the extra support which I also bought from Revain. I'll probably try another brand if the wing breaks again. Installation was smooth and easy, but unnecessarily complicated as the screws do not line up perfectly with the mounting holes…
