Reliable Circuit Breakers for Automotive Use!

These circuit breakers have been a game changer for my car's circuit system. The low profile design allows for easy installation, and the manual reset feature ensures peace of mind in case of any unexpected surges or issues. The 5A rating is perfect for my needs, and the pack of 3 is great value for money. The only downside is that the packaging could be more eco-friendly. Overall, highly recommended for any automotive enthusiasts looking for reliable circuit breakers.

Pros
  • Easy to manually reset without replacing the fuse.
Cons
  • May require additional installation components for some applications.

Ideal for frequently blown fuses

I couldn't find where the short was in the turn signals. I bought these circuit breakers so I can reset them quickly when I'm on the go. They work like magic! I made a small modification and cut off two small "protective tabs" on either side of the reset button so I could just lean over and press it without looking for something thin enough to fit through the tabs .

Pros
  • 5A @ 32VDC - 3 pack
Cons
  • Available in white only

Fits my purpose

I used this to protect the step-up/step-down converter (and subsequent electronics) in a battery box I built. It hasn't worked yet, but I've been trying to throw no more than 6 amps, so it makes sense. I was about to use a fuse but fuses of this shape are never 6 amps, you have to use round glass fuses which I didn't want to do. The converter is rated at 6 amps, so it's either that or the glass fuses. I'm happy with that, if it works I just push the button. Note that this may not be appropriate

Pros
  • Conformity: SAEJ553; SAEJ1171 (spark protection)
Cons
  • old
