Perfect fit and no leaks

Perfect fit and no leaks. If it's leaking, you either installed it incorrectly or measured the transmission case when removing the old gasket. Installed on the passenger side of my 2004 Impala SS. Works on the driver side of any GM 4T65E transmission.

Sealed Leaking CV Shaft on a 2001 Impala

When I replaced the front CV shaft on our 2001 Chevy Impala I must have cut the seal when I reinstalled the shaft in the transmission because I put transmission oil on ours garage buried floor . Long story short, I removed the shaft (again), replaced the seal with this new part and the leak was gone!

Almost exactly the right fit

The hub came as ordered and on time. However, the hub mounting flange is a bit thicker and the stud heads are thicker than the OEM hub. This rendered the use of factory washers impractical as the heads of the mounting bolts would hit the studs of the jam nuts and the hub would not rotate. If you do not remove the washers, there is enough room for the hub to rotate freely. However, this caused the dust cover to rub against the rotor, so it had to be bent to prevent it from rubbing against the…
