Awful Mount Bracket for Automotive Steps

This mounting bracket is a complete waste of money. Its poorly designed and does not securely fasten the running boards to the vehicle. The whole assembly wobbles and rattles, making it very annoying to drive with. .

Pros
  • Pro: None
Cons
  • Con: Poor design, doesn't securely fasten running boards

Sturdy Mounting Bracket for Side Steps

As my tests showed, this mounting bracket is a must-have for anyone looking to install running boards or side steps on their vehicles .THE bracket is made of high-quality materials that ensure durability and long-lasting performance. One pro is that it is easy to install and fits perfectly with most running board models. The only con I could find is that it may require some modifications for certain types of vehicles. Overall I would highly recommend this bracket for its value and quality..

Pros
  • Easy installation process
Cons
  • Requires drilling into vehicle frame for mounting

Easy Installation - Body

Simple, easy installation on a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Quadcab. Installed both sides in about an hour with a hand tool. I mounted it according to the instructions, but the middle bracket's auxiliary brace didn't fit, it was too long. The steps seemed pretty strong without them, so I decided to see how it worked and later change the brace if necessary to make it fit.

Pros
  • Replacement Parts
Cons
  • Waiting Too Long
