✔ 394FT HDMI TO ETHERNET EXTENDER – With a single CAT5e/6/7 cable, you can easily create an HDM signal booster for up to 394ft with the HDbitTv2 (TX/RX kit, version 2.0); Direct 1-to-1 connection or 1-to-many through GB network switches. Additional receivers (part# HDbitTv2-RX, version 2.0) are sold separately. *Important Note*: HDbitTv2 (this kit, version 2.0) is NOT backward compatible with the previous version and its receivers (RX). ✔ NETWORK DISTRIBUTION – The Ethernet hdmi adapter can connect up to 30 receivers per transmitter. 1-to-many configuration through 1) Unmanaged/Dedicated Gigabit switches, 2) Smart Gigabit switches with VLAN to segregate video traffic from the rest of the LAN. Many-to-many configuration is also supported via VLAN setups; Note that each VLAN can only accommodate 1 transmitter (TX); We recommend gofanco 24-port video Ethernet switch (EthSwitch24P-2, B085DD9GG4); Don't use home router for this. ✔ LOW BANDWIDTH HDMI ETHERNET – Supports up to 1080p; supports 408i/480p @60Hz, 576i/576p @50Hz, 720p @50/60Hz, 1080i/1080p @50/60Hz; Auto adjustment for different cable lengths to produce the best video and audio experience; Supports 2-channel Stereo Audio; * Note: There’s a 250ms or less delay/latency due to data compression; Not recommended for real-time applications, such as PC gaming. ✔ IR REMOTE CONTROL EXTENSION – Allow source device to recognize remote commands; You can control the HDMI source device at a secondary location with the included IR cables that forward commands over a CAT cable for convenience; We recommend using high performance pure COPPER gofanco CAT6 cables to ensure reliable performance: Search CAT6UTP-100 (B07PB3R8BK) / CAT6UTP-150 (B07P6TDMLH) on Amazon. ✔ SIMPLE INSTALLATION HDMI BALUN – No software is required this HDMI extender adapter. Surface mountable metal housing provides durability and higher level of RF/EMI shielding; FCC, CE & RoHS compliant. UPDATE: Latency is mentioned in the listing specs. This is why I raised the rating to 4 stars because it works exactly as it should. Just note that the delay is half a second. Installed this extension in our church sanctuary where the projector is at a height of 20 feet. After installing (not noticing the lag) I noticed a lag AFTER I had already removed everything (Giant Stairs). The video is about half a second (maybe more) behind the source. Since my audio comes straight from the source, it…

Receiver video output flickers and cuts out

I ordered this unit to send HDMI video from my CCTV NVR to different areas of my home. I just ordered a kit to test on my network with Ubiquiti network devices. I connected this setup to my network along with other network devices and it worked pretty quickly. After you leave it on for a few hours, the video signal only flashes as a white screen for a split second. I thought, okay, no big deal. After the device was on for a little over 24 hours, the screen went black. After about 2 minutes the…

Works well. Full 60p is great for sports.

I bought this to connect an HDMI cable box to 3 TVs. The IR remote works well. Audio/video synchronization is ok. It works well for all types of TV viewing, including sports. I've tried another system before and found it only supports 30p: DISTANCER HDMI over TCP/IP over Ethernet over a single Cat5e Cat6 cable Up to 120m (395ft) with IR, supports 1080p HDMI 1.3, HDCP 1.2, TCP/IP - (transmitter and receiver set) This GOFANCO system handles 60p correctly, making it great for sports. An important…

I bought this as a video camera add-on solution for our kindergarten service as our old coax relay system failed Contacted vendor gofanco as I have an Aruba Mobility Controller with 24 gigabit -Ethernet ports that are more than capable of handling any traffic that we can possibly pass. Here is her answer. "We recommend that unmanaged switches resolve any potential conflicts with management software. It should work fine with managed switches as long as our units don't have network limitations…

I am impressed. Best of Remote Controls and Accessories

I ordered a transmitter/receiver kit and a pair of standalone receivers. At home, I use a separate media VLAN for music and video. I have a transmitter plugged into it and connected my Chromecast to the transmitter. I then attached receivers to it and connected them to my displays. (Neither the kit nor the individual receivers come with HDMI cables, so you might want to bring a few.) The transmitter and receivers found each other instantly, and I started streaming Netflix from my tablet to my…

Latency is 250ms or less due to data compression; Not recommended for real-time applications such as computer games

Some gigabit switches will not work with it.

Everything seems to be working fine so far. A receiver will be added soon to see if it still works well. I almost sent it back. Ethernet is everywhere in my house as I have several IP cameras, a dozen computers and Smart TVs and everything is connected to a wired network and has an IP address. Didn't work when first plugged in. was connected through 3 unmanaged switches. I isolated the problem as a 5 port TP-Link gigabit switch. Anyway, I connected via TP-Link, the signal didn't come through…

May not automatically detect the best output resolution

I used this to extend my cable box (which is connected to a 1080p TV is) to a home theater and projector on the other floor of my house to save on renting a second HD cable box since I never use a projector and TV at the same time. The TV has a newer 1080p input and the projector has an older 1080i input. I use a 1 to 2 HDMI splitter in my cable box so I don't have to switch HDMI cables when using the projector and therein lies the problem. The cable set-top box is automatically tuned to the…
