🚗 Enhance Fiat Diagnostic Performance with Goliton OBD OBD2 16 Pin Connector Adapter for Fiat 3 Pin Review

I wish I had read the reviews before buying. The pins were too wide for my diagnostic connector. Also, the OBD2 side fell apart when I tried to plug it into the obd2 connector. It was very poorly done. My bike is torn and I have to wait to get a new fork.

The delivered product does not match the image in the description. The delivered product has a short plug. The photo shows a long connector. It's nominally equivalent but has thick pins instead of thin pins on the male side. They don't fit some car plugs. (especially mine)

Connected to an ODB to USB converter, successfully accessed my Moto Guzzi computer. You will also need software and drivers (from other sources). Overall it worked as expected. Be VERY careful when connecting to the battery. If you mix up positive and negative, it will self-destruct, burst and smoke. Yes, I know that from my own experience.

When opening the box one of the alligator clips came loose. Apparently not soldered properly. Also note that this is a type of universal 3-pin adapter whose pins are too wide to connect to Aprilia. It's also missing the part that aligns it inside. Another reviewer said it worked for Aprilia, but the connector must have changed since then.

Bought with manufacturers guarantee that it would fit my bike. The pins are much thicker than on my connector. I'm pretty sure it doesn't fit most Ducati models as I compared it to another cable that fits many Ducati models. In general, the design is typical for inexpensive Chinese use, but not suitable for everyday use. Also check the wire placement as this is upside down as others have said. I would look elsewhere if you need one for a European bike.

After reading the reviews I did what EVERYONE should do and checked the contacts. Of course, K and L were swapped. Luckily for me the ground and power cables were fine. After playing around with this, it turned out that this does not fit the 2017 Ducati Hypermotard. The ports are much narrower on my bike and the plastic secondary alignment pin is missing. I found the correct adapter on Ebay for $3. I am ashamed that I did not check my bike before ordering.
