So I'm no gardener, and prefer not to deal with any plants in general- but my landlord only covers cutting grass and nothing else. I have always bought only top of the line garden tools. I needed a specific style of blade and this was the only brand I could find to fit my requirements. I purchased the 8" Professional Pruning Shears. These are the best I have EVER used. I loved my Corona tools, and have been using them since 1999, but I will be replacing each them when Gonicc has a replacement. The comfort makes gardening easier.

It is a great pruner but it was difficult to unlock. It took alot of effort to unlock so I leave it unlocked all the time. That's my review!

These are good little hand shears however the button that keeps them locked keeps sliding when I'm using them. I have to hold it up while pruning else it locks on my ever time. Maybe this is the way they were designed, but it's kind-of inconvenient.

Very good pair of shears! Very pleased with handling and cutting ability. When cutting these are actually soft on the hand holding them due to the impact material below the blade. It feels cushioned after passing threw the branch which is very nice and unusual. Very pleased with the overall product with function and design.

So far these cutting shears have worked out really great for me. The blade is sharp and have had no problems cutting twigs & stems. I like how there is a locking mechanism and it is easy to lock and unlock. Works good.

These clippers are not easy to use. They keep locking up so I have to constantly move the ball back to clip EACH TIME I clip the branches. I ended up buying something else since they do not work well.

Very pleased with these for cutting thicker branches and pruning heavier bushes. I do recommend these and their bypass pruners, too.

Maybe I missed something but these things lock every time I cut something. I have to manually unlock them to finish the cut. Very frustratingOtherwise they feel good. I’m just not sure this will work for my needs long term

I purchased these shears to prune small hedges in the front yard, and I'm glad to say they work well. These shears are for small jobs for pruning and meticulous shape ups, and not big enough for major cutting and sculpting (you can but it will take a while 😜). But they cut very easy with a nice clean cut. Very satisfied!

I do not like that if I'm holding the shears with the blade at a downward angle, the locking pin always slides into place upon making a cut. You then have to manipulate the locking pin back out of the way with your thumb before you can make another cut. This is irritating and a design flaw. The locking pin should stay in either position once moved there. If unlocked, stay unlocked - if locked, stay locked. Very disappointed that this was an "Walmart Choice" item.

Shears did an excellent job of pruning branches. Good leverage in thick branches, locks and unlocks easily and they are sharp. Excellent value for the money.

Excellent cutting force, chops through quick and clean with no binding! The only drawback I found is the blades lock if you are cutting downwards, to prevent this I keep my thumb on the lock/unlock knob in order to make multiple quick cuts.

I bought this to replace a Fiskers brand pair of sheers that were not working very well. So far these are working great for my gardening needs!

i am a landscaper and these aren’t strong enough to be used for what i need them for everyday. They might be okay as a pair for around the house

Used them this week for the first time and they were so easy to use; effortless making the job fast to get done. Very happy with these clippers.

My wife bought these and hasn't tried them yet. They're comfortable but I had to warn her that the lock/unlock button on ours simply slides with gravity. Not a problem if you're cutting something higher than the handles. If you're reaching down, however, the tool locks in the closed position and the jaws won't open again until you tilt the cutters back above the handles and squeeze.
