🌧️ Gooby - Adjustable Raincoat with See Through Visor for Optimal Rain Protection Review

My dog hated the rain and wouldn't go outside until we bought him his Gooby when he was a puppy. He had ten other raincoats and they didn't work because the rain hit his face. This is his second bigger Gooby. He LOVES wearing it and we're having no more poop strikes!

I have tried many coats at pet shops and never found the right one. This one does and the size chart on the website is accurate. My dog loves the see through hood and I am very happy with how the rain cover works. More expensive than most but worth the money.

I measured my dog and bought the recommended size and oh my god it fits perfectly! i am so impressed The material is incredibly high quality and the little plastic helmet is amazing. Recommend this little coat to anyone who wants to keep their pup dry and stylish!

The cords run around the hood so it can be easily shaped to cover my dog's ears without squeezing them. Adjusting the coat is done by pushing the dog's head through the neck opening by pulling on the material. Behind 2 suspenders for the hind legs. She weighs 22 pounds, chest 21 inches, size Medium. She doesn't have a big head for a French guy.

I bought this for my young Rottweiler/Labrador who was a size L but it was too big so I returned it. Now that he is full has grown I bought it again I took his measurements again as indicated and this time I bought XL but it's really tight on his shoulders I wanted to return it to get the next size up but I have missed the return window well at least it fits...very snug, looks like the hulk just before he gets his clothes ripped off but until then we'll give it a try.

Too hard and long to put on my dog. Velcro that goes under the chest causes headaches; It's too long and could have been designed better. My dog hates the raincoat (it's not Gooby's fault). The garters (or whatever you call them) that used to hold his back are driving him crazy. I tried without garters, but they are needed so that the coat does not flap in the wind. It was starting to rain in Northern California and we needed shelter for my youngest bear rescuer on his walks. I started looking at dog umbrellas but thought they might be too bulky so I looked at raincoats. The bear is a spaniel mix, about 18 pounds. Medium size fits perfectly. The clear plastic hood is molded and I love that there is a leash hole in addition to the plastic D-ring so the leash can be attached to its hanger by its stronger metal double D-rings. What you may not be able to tell from the description or photos is that two wires run the full length of the jacket/hood through these reflective strips. Thanks to these wires, the tail and hood of the raincoat are easily adjustable. Other coats I've tried on for my "noseless" pug have covered his eyes (if not his entire face) with a flexible hood, so this coat is great! As you can see from the photo, he's not very confident in his new raincoat yet, but I'm sure his attitude will change next…

I've been looking for the perfect pet raincoat for YEARS. There is a WIRE in the two reflective strips that run from the center of the hood back which really helps shape the hood to stay on my dog's head AND the back of the coat to stay on her long haired tail to stay - she's a Maltese - folds down her back.
