Good Strainer for Kitchen Dining

This is a good size strainer. It's built to last - no little legs to fall off, no coating to wear off. Yes, that is the fate of my last two screens. It's big enough to hold enough pasta or potatoes for a massive batch of pasta or potato salad or spaghetti for the crowd. The bowl allows you to drain whatever you need outside of the sink - useful if you need the sink for other cooking steps. It might not be the prettiest of colors, but I don't intend to use it as a showpiece, and probably neither

More than enough: Strainers and food strainers

I use one brand of strainer/bowl set almost every day. I decided to order this Goodful set as a second device. It's not quite as thick as my original, but it's more than enough. My least favorite thing about the Goodful is the open handles that fit inside each other. My original has full grips that won't get my fingers stuck. Also, since my original has a full grip over the grip, I don't have to fiddle with it to fit one grip into another. These are SMALL complaints about a fully functional…

Fits Colander

This colander/bowl set is functional but by no means a high-end kitchen tool. Think of a dollar store or department store when it comes to the quality of the material used to make this product. I've used it to wash and dry grapes, lettuce and the like. It holds about six cups of fruit and veg in a smaller colander and drains nicely into a larger partner bowl, but I'm hesitant to use it to drain hot pasta or veggies because the plastic is flimsy. Not sure if it will withstand heat over time…

Nice and inexpensive colander and bowl set from GOODFUL. It's a little smaller than I expected (about half the size of my colander) but does a good job of draining pasta and rinsing veggies. The holes don't really seem too small to me (to be honest we cook spaghetti and angel hair pasta at least a few times a week and we had no problem with that). We've also used it to rinse sliced veggies (asparagus, zucchini) and had no problems. Aside from being smaller than expected and priced higher than…

Convenient for colander, drain, maybe not capellini

I was specifically looking for a bowl and colander set to hang on the kitchen rack and it's good you just have to open the handles and both hang up one and the same pen. The kit also works well for drip drainage - you get about a cup of liquid under the strainer before it spills out through the holes, and even more if you turn the strainer 90 degrees. this is how the strainer handles sit on the rim of the bowl. The set is very durable and feels strong. Unfortunately, nothing is perfect, the…

Best for soaking and rinsing fruits and vegetables

I have used it before blending (pancakes, cakes) and to strain pasta. Ultimately, due to the size and nature of the material, I mainly use it for soaking and then rinsing fruits like strawberries. Rinse which I assume follows other various fruits and vegetables. This works very well with the types of fruits and vegetables the skin eats, and the skin is able to easily pick up on surrounding objects, both good and bad. Due to the material and considerations of scratches and durability, cleaning…

The surface inside the colander is cracked and may be peeling

When I first took this colander and bowl out of the box I was optimistic about the quality. The size is perfect for my needs and the colander fits comfortably in the bowl. I even admired the "matte finish" inside the bowl and strainer. Then I took a closer look. See photos from this review. The "matte" surface is cracked on the bottom and there are bubbles on this surface like peeling off after some use. I'm disappointed. I could use this product to rinse large fruit in cold water, but I won't…

Handy colander with drip tray

This bowl can be used for many things on its own, but I really like using it as a set when draining food. I use it for beans, chopped or cooked veggies, and pasta. The colander is large and holds a lot of food. It fits securely in the bowl, I can just wash or drain the food in a colander and put it in the bowl while I continue to eat the rest of the food. The base of the colander sits about a quarter inch above the base of the bowl, more if I place the colander's handles on the sides of the…
