short lived. suitable for cycling

I normally get 1 year on rear tires but Goodyear only gave me 6 months. Warehouse deal for $6 so I'm not complaining too much. Just don't expect too much from him. Otherwise there were no problems with the tires.

Pros
  • 1 year trial period
Cons
  • many

The tread is completely worn out in 3 months!

I bought this for my son. With this tire he drove both on the highway and on the single lane. After only 3 months (<200 miles) the profile wears out completely. Unacceptable! I give 2 stars against 1 because of the price.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Crumpled

Great everyday tire!

Didn't know how to fit a folding tire but as soon as I put it over the tube and started pumping it up it sat lightly on the rim and got just as hard as a hard tire. Worth the money and great quality! Will buy two more for my other bike.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • So-so

became very strong and I never had any problems after

This was the first experience with a folding tire. At first it seemed weak, when I unpacked it I said it wouldn't work but I tried anyway, it took a while to install and when I pumped it up it took shape becoming very strong and I had never problems afterwards.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Safety

Great tire, more difficult to fit

So these tires require more force than traditional clincher strips. They are very flexible so you have to slip them over the tube on the rim, inflate the tube and then work to fit them onto the rim. The stock tire can stay in place once fitted to the rim without having to inflate the tube. Once you have fitted it and fitted it properly it will be like any standard tire. I like the quality and soft rubber of this tire for driving comfort.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Cleanliness

Fits my 584 x 21 rims

Just installed on my mountain bike so far so good. My rim is 584 x 21, they were a bit narrower than the previous tires (2.25). They fit, but need a bit more finesse to attach the bead to the rim. It took a while for the first tire, but for the second it was as easy as peeling a pear. I had to pump a little more air into the inner chamber, and while I used my right hand to press the tire bead against the rim, I used my left hand to press the chamber from below. This will help keep the beads in…

  • New
Cons

Excellent tire for everyday use, but not for the trail!

I don't call it a mountain bike tire, it lacks grip on a mountain bike trail, it's more of a commuter + XC + Gravel tire. In key areas I use them now when riding in the suburbs, I have a different wheelset for them and I keep my Maxxis MTB tires ready to hit the trails. Update July 22, 2019 with over 2,000 miles. The rear tire is in bold, but 0 plates ordered a replacement. But the front tire has some life left, maybe 2000 miles left hahaha, ride the same psi 35psi most of the time.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • The list is long.
