How to remove the nut

It worked, but this is only for those who have lost the key and are trying to remove it. Head 5/8 and drive it into the bolt, you can use another head. I tried several times until it was round. If it's on, use the breaker and turn it off. To remove the bushing from the screw once it's stuck, simply slide it back onto the bar and wiggle the bushing. I wrote this hoping that someone like me would lose the key and papers and spent 2 days rolling up and down the street looking for it in the grass…

I wish I had them before the wheels were stolen

While these wheel locks don't make it impossible for a thief to remove the wheels, they do at least create a strong deterrent to theft and offer some peace of mind. We received a new 2021 Ford Explorer and were the victims of a wheel theft a few days later (all 4). So I definitely recommend installing them on your new car so as not to become an easy target. What I really like about the Gorilla Guard brand is that it's not as common as the McGard brand, which can be an added deterrent. In…

A MUST FOR YOUR CAR!

I lived in a rough city and these locks have probably saved my bikes from theft more than once. If you also have relatively good wheels and rims, you need to protect them. It's too easy to steal someone's wheels, and I've seen the heartache with my own eyes. These gorilla locks work exactly as described. They are made of solid metal and the tooth pattern is unique. You cannot remove these locks with a regular outlet. You MUST have a wrench or some powerful power tools which not every criminal…

Real gorilla locks that work

First of all I can finally say that I have found the best wheel locks on the market. These locks take into account the fact that someone can simply pinch or bang on the outlet to attach it and knock it out. This is not possible with these locks as the outer sleeve only rotates and will by no means engage the rest of the lock with enough torque to remove it. The only option is to seriously damage the wheel until it becomes unusable. . The key itself does not have a number but does have a lock…

Adds security best in tires and wheels

As mentioned in many reviews, no lock offers complete protection. Security and deterrence are for expected threats. I had to turn my Kar Kaddy SS Dolly into an unattractive target for bike theft when it was in a remote location. I tow my car behind my Class A van on a dolly. If I leave my car unattended while camping, someone could take the wheels off the car and walk with them before I come back. This type of theft is easy to perform and only requires a wrench and a jack, or even two men and…

Discreet anti-theft design.

Gorilla Automotive 61641 Acorn Guard Locks (Thread Size 14mm x 1.50) Most wheel locks (captive nuts that require socket wrenches) can be removed by anyone without a key. For example, a friend with McGard wheel locks lost his "key" and was very concerned about how to get the locks off. I clipped the standard head over the McGard lock, tapped the lock lightly with a hammer, and unscrewed the lock with a socket wrench. It took about 2 minutes to lock the wheels. After that experience I threw away…
