I've always been reluctant to pay over $20 for one of these at the store, so I did when I saw this one for significantly less. could you do it at home Possibly, but I've found it to be a good tool to use from time to time. The 3 lines help you check your fit (waist, shoulders, eyes) as you look over the ball. Not everyone bets the same way, but I think just opening up the mirror where you put the ball can give feedback. Ideal for checking and slow practice.

This is great for leveling and allows you to feel the greens you will wear that day. I would suggest if you're training for longer putts, go for the longer version. The short version is good for short to medium range shots and observing eye alignment and correct shot technique. The longer version allows you to quantify the backswing to length of shot based on green speed up to a 30 foot swing with pendulum motion.

Overall a great product, it helped me quickly see that my eyes were GOOD within the line of putt. Immediate feedback and great practice tool. One star deducted because the slots you put the tees in to make the "goals" are SLIGHTLY too narrow for the plastic tees and it kept getting a little off when I put the tees in. It took many attempts before I was able to balance them. perfect with triplets. Without the tees the product works great and stays in place. Highly recommended for the price.

After looking through many similar products I chose this one for its practicality and many leveling tools. I'm very glad I bought it as it already showed me how my eyes were inside the putting line, resulting in most of my mistakes being right. Now I can get my nose on the ball and dominate with my right eye right on the line, and most of the time I'm hitting the dead spot of the cup. It's a little awkward to develop this new habit, but I'm sure it will become more natural with time.

I bought the 16 inch model. The lines help with ball alignment as well as eye positioning. I was surprised at how far I lined up inside the ball. Now, with practice, I'm more comfortable with my eyes closer to the ball. It really helps me see the line better. Mirror. I lay the mat down so I can't comment on how it performs on grass. Works well but strip on ball or long steel ruler is all you need. The idea is to hit the ball with the clubface perpendicular to the ball and in the desired direction of travel.
