This stack does NOT work

They are not done right! Pivot not drilled in correct location for lifting. I have another brand that works perfectly. So when I couldn't get them to pull back, I studied them side by side and concluded that although they are strong, they don't pull back because the pull back activator (the part you step on) has a low has contact. the main lever that holds the door open. The harder you pedal, the harder the main arm and rubber footrest. It should rest slightly higher and act as full support…

Great concept but fake that doesn't work properly

I really liked the design of this doorstop when I bought and installed one of the original patented models. Unfortunately, these are cheap fakes and don't work properly. The metal is only polished where it's visible, and there are hangers and spots in the work where the lever doesn't quite seat properly, preventing proper springback and reset. I cannot use my foot to dislodge the stopper as the product appears to have the wrong tolerances in its manufacture. I'm very disappointed, the stoppers…

When it arrived I was very impressed with the construction, very solid. I was disappointed in the lack of basic instructions and a simple template for drilling pilot holes. Went to install and found that the top screw hole is basically inaccessible unless you hold the spring loaded locking lever in a very tight position. Good stopper that works and fairly easy to use

We needed a doorstop for a door that tends to close in drafts. This stopper was easy to install and keeps the door in place. The only reason for 4 stars is that I've found the way this stopper works doesn't always allow for an easy lift when trying to close the door while walking through with my hands full. My husband doesn't have this problem and the good thing is that unlike some other stoppers, this stopper can be lifted with your foot without using your hands. One note my husband overlooked

Works well for its purpose, with a few small comments.

They do their job well. However, I have a few complaints. First, driving in is quite noisy, with loose metal rattling and banging on the door. It's not scary, but loud enough that it could be a problem if needed in a quiet area or around sleeping kids. Second, after about two months, the contact points where the arm and holding foot touch each other began to wear out, causing the retraction to not work properly. The leg barely rose, it wasn't enough for the spring to take over and pull it up. I

I really wanted this to work for me. But it did not work!

I'm not new to installing these things, I've done it in my other homes etc in the past. I really wish this set would work, but it didn't work properly. The problem isn't with the installation process or whatever, the problem is that when you have a door that stops and when you try to step on the lever to stop (raise) the door it won't go up. It will get stuck and the only way to do this is to lean forward and do it by hand but lift the doorstop. Great if you are young or in excellent yoga…
