    Nice and strong ball mounts

    Just what I needed to protect my cargo trailer. Trailers are too easily stolen if not secure. This lock is easy to use and protects your trailer from unauthorized towing!

    Cheap, broke in 5 minutes

    This item is CHEAP! The first time we used it the key broke in the lock, then we had to bring an ax to the lock to get it off our trailer (which it easily ripped off with just a few hits). In fact, we only bought it to throw away.

    Broke within a week. suitable for external accessories

    The lock jammed immediately and the key in it actually broke off. I thought I'd need a flashlight to take it off, but damn I was wrong. I removed it with a pry bar and a hammer in about 2 minutes. Yellow painted "metal" is basically a cut above hard painted plastic. skip it

    Good prices on tow and winch items

    Looks like a decent lock for the money. They are made very cheaply. A good hit or two with a big hammer will likely fall off. I still use snaps with them. If I had expensive trailers or trailers with gear I wouldn't buy them. Spend lots of money on it. This is just to make it a little harder for a thief to get your item.

    For the price - a good deterrent

    I love the fact that I can now park my trailer in an easy to access location, but I'm sure no one will tear it down. I'm sure the company makes about 5 versions of the keys - but that will deter spontaneous crime! The only downside is that it's a little rough; Extending and retracting the bolt requires some patience. But for the price, it's a great device.

    Good anti-theft protection

    Does what it should, prevents theft. Had to buy this to replace the one I had to but lost the keys. But be careful, this is only for anti-theft purposes, I had an old, exactly the same product, a minute grinder. So it won't really stop the theft, but hopefully the thief won't want to steal your trailer because it will be a bit more work than pulling up and locking onto a trailer without a lock.

    Very poor design

    I bought three of these for each of my trailers to avoid theft. When I opened the box I could tell right away that they were cheaply made. I've tried all three and I couldn't get any of them to open the key. I couldn't imagine trying to unlock them after they had rained and started to rust or worse snowed on them. It's gonna be a really bad day when you need your trailer and can't pull the fuse. Spend your money and buy a quality one. If it's worth locking, it's worth buying a better lock
