I bought these lights because I wanted Alexa compatible LED lights for my Bourbon cabinet. I really just selected them based upon Best Buy reviews. Installation was relatively simple once I determined where to drill a hole in my cabinet for the power cord. The only reason that I went four starts on installation is because there is a solder connection rather than a cut connection every fourth or so sections; I had to cut and splice to make a fit on one section.but that is very minor. I was hoping they would be brighter, but they worked well enough as a backlight for the TV. The problem is that after just a couple months the colors are messing up. The strip no longer goes pure white, but instead goes goes multicolored. I had a hard time getting them to play nice with the 90° connectors, but that probably had more to do with the cheap connectors than the light strip. Govee lights seem to be highly rated, but when I replace these I’ll be trying a different brand.

I ran these lights in the rafters of our patio roof and they light up nicely. Unfortunately when I access the app and attempt to sync with music, the app continues to try and connect/sync and basically just locks me out of my phone. Also, the scenes and moods are nice but is there a way to slow the transitions down? I've bought my 15 yr old daughter about 3 different type and brands of LED light. I have to say these are the real deal best LED light on the market. I find my self amazed about these. The app is amazing as well. I love its simple and easy to hook up and the adapter is small light and out the way. Everything about these is perfect from colors, the length to setup. I'll be buying some for my 49ers man cave and the basement as well.

Govee is officially the only brand of lighting i’ll ever buy again. if you’re hesitant, the extra $$ Govee lights cost will more than make up for you not having to replace wonky led’s in a few months. they’re sturdy and reliable lights.

I bought these because the old ones that I've had for over a year were starting to fail. These are a little more pricey but it is definitely worth it. The adhesive holds great. I even had to rip off some of them to redo them, and the adhesive has not let me down. The directions are very clear and I had them connected to my phone within minutes. Added this 50-foot strip light to my porch. Adhesion to the vinyl siding is excellent. Govee is a great brand! Govee app is excellent for controlling the lights!

I received the product and went to try it out. I got my Whole office updated and when I turned it on one half of the lights were only showing the green spectrum. While this was cool in all if I wanted to have a Blue or red it would just turn off. I contacted the sellers customer service and explained the situation and come to find out there was a cut in the strip that left about 3 feet of lights on the spool. Govee Customer service was Excellent they sent a replacement that I received on Monday

Use these as cove lighting. The music function is a lot of fun and can custom set a lot of things. Wish they were a tad brighter and some of the LEDs lose some of their color after a while.

I bought this light strip to light up the built-in shelf near the ceiling of my family room. The adhesive worked really well. However, I am disappointed at how little light the light string provides. As a result, I usually have the light strip turned on at 100% brightness. I was able to successfully connect the light strip to Alexa. The lights are nice and bright and the app is good as well. However, less than 2 weeks after installing the lights they have some sort of glitch where some of the leds will be a different color than what I chose. For example if I choose the color purple ( I’ll show the picture) some of the leds will be red. These do well if you're only wanting basic colors. The app gives you the typical color wheel making you think you can get a very specific color, but this string cannot reproduce all of those colors. It even struggles to make a basic yellow. Red is good, blue is good, beyond that and you're testing it's limits.

As you can see in the photo, the brightness drops with the strip length.Because of that by the end it’s becomes a different color. Or maybe it’s just my unit that is defective. IDK

I liked that the product was budget friendly but also that it came with some smart features to connect to my google home. That's my review.

My initial experience was very goof, there were some minor inconsistencies with brightness/hue but they were hardly noticeable. Within 3 months however, some sections experienced serious discoloration or even total burnout. In the pictures you can see 3 lights that had the blue burn out completely, leaving them off when set to blue and discolored when set to colors that include blue

We have had luck with govee products. They seem to work really well and you can link your govee app to Alexa and control the lights both ways. My kids love these lights.

SUPER EASY TO PUT UP. I WAS SUPER SURPRISED HOW GOOD THE 3M ADHESIVE IS. IT LOOKS SO GOOD. FOR THE MONEY THIS IS THE BEST BY FAR! I didnt get it hooked up to my alexa but its actually better on the phone app. Its very EASY TO USE.
