Requires at least 4V. Fry your circuit at a lower cost.

Requires at least 4V input. It's terribly unstable at 3.4V and delivers 2 to 4 times the set output voltage. Your circuit won't be happy if it's expecting 10V but suddenly 39V. Also, I can hardly get my output to exceed 1A before it gets out of control. Even at less than 1A, the efficiency is only about 65% and it starts to get very hot.

Requires heatsinks in power converters

Tested with a Class D audio amplifier that draws around 3-4A from a 12V source amplified to 25V. Results: 3A max. Electricity with lots of heat! It increases tension but cannot handle the load I tested it with. I replaced it with a 150w boost converter and my project was able to draw 4 amps all day. without heat. This would be great for anything low power. Good price!

I set mine to 30v output with 24v input. Works except it destroyed my electronics instantly when turned on. I looked closely at the turn-on behavior and saw that it went above 40V for about 100ms. Even adding a 2000uF capacitor doesn't fix it. If your electronics can handle the initial surge of power, this is a great inexpensive solution. Otherwise you have to look elsewhere.

Very good converter!

These are very adjustable DC/DC boost converters! The lower limit of 10 volts is definitely accurate as you MUST be above 10 volts for an adjustment to work. When the input voltage is below 10 volts, the output is equal to the input. As soon as the input voltage exceeds the level you set, the output follows the input again. So if you want to limit the output level, just add a zener diode with any voltage limit. Great price for what you get, of course they are made in China.

Excellent power regulation for pulsed loads from 2 to 50 ohms.

This boost converter works exactly as expected. Use it to boost 12VDC to 24VDC. Excellent stabilization of the output signal with pulsed loads from 2 to 50 milliamps in my application. Note that the through holes for the inlet and outlet connections are NOT on the exact .100" pitch (the template looks like 17mm x 40mm). This isn't a problem if you're just connecting the wires, but if you're installing pins to plug it into an outlet or breadboard, it doesn't quite fit. The product does not…

Bought these about a year ago and just tested one of the five. It worked great. It was possible to increase 19V 4A to 32V. Like the others, you'll need a heatsink if you're going to work with more than 2A of current. My product didn't get very hot, but I haven't tried running it for hours at a load over 2A yet. It works as expected and the tension is easily adjustable. 5 stars because I have 5 of these for a great price. Even if I burn one later, I still have 4 more to test. What offer! Thanks…
