BUYER WARNING! This product requires HP OEM chips to be removed from used toner cartridges - they will not function without them. The seller provides tools to remove and replace the chips HOWEVER the HP toner chips for my M283cdw MFP printer could not be removed. These toner cartridges are unusable.

Let me start by saying that you need to remove the chip from your old cartridge and since you are doing this it means your new cartridge is low on ink. If you agree with these concerns, this is a great and affordable ink replacement option for your HP printer. It literally took me less than 5 minutes to install the chips and toner using the tools provided. The print is clean and works as it should. I love this option and for the price it's a huge cost saver.

I gave this product three stars and here is why. I took it because it was cheap. The problem is that you need to make some changes to make it work. After installing the toner, you cannot check the toner level, probably because it is not a genuine HP cartridge. I love seeing how much toner I have so I won't be buying it again.

This is a great replacement for the original toner I had which of course would cost a fortune if I could get it direct from HP. The toner also comes with a helpful installation kit that even includes gloves! I've never seen anyone pack so many useful ink tools. You are usually on your own (tools/setup wise) even if you buy a retail product so this was extremely helpful. Despite the extra features, it's still a lot cheaper than HP inks. Very happy with this product!

This is a good all purpose set for your ink. It comes with tools and even gloves! The cartridges are securely closed and protected. If this is your first time changing cartridges, be sure to read the instructions, you can seriously mess up. These inks print with high quality and last a long time. I appreciate that it comes with tools and gloves, most inks don't have these and cost the same.

I ordered this for our new printer. I opened it up and found instructions to "carefully" remove the chip from the original cartridge and insert it into a replacement cartridge. Our current/genuine cartridges (supplied with the printer) have an adhesive chip that is very difficult to remove. With new cartridges, the chip must be removed from the original cartridge and inserted into a new one. As others have said they come without a chip. Without the chip, your printer will not recognize the cartridge. This product requires you to remove the chip from your old cartridge, which cannot be done without destroying it as it is glued on. The tools they give you are useless for chip removal.
