These pedals only lasted 8 rides! I never hit them or harmed them, they just broke while driving which was a major inconvenience because I was 7 miles from my truck.

It was a great purchase. My other pedals had lasted a decade and I was dying to get new ones. These fit perfectly. No more need to have clips on top. The small teeth grab your boot and keep it on the pedal. No problems with feet falling asleep due to tooth pressure or the like.

Unfortunately I had to return the product as something was wrong. Just not the right size but I will say the product itself was wonderful. Very durable and had nice looking pedals. I will order correct size if available. I highly recommend this product.

This would be a good inexpensive replacement for children's bikes, casual riders etc. Upon receipt and inspection I don't think they have ball bearings and will wear out faster with heavy use. Alloy, lightweight, and the pins "hold" the shoe in place. Be careful though - the pins can also pack a nasty punch to your shin if you slip.

This is an addition to my original review. The left pedal started to bind and not rotate smoothly about 1.5 months ago. Tried to fix it with lube. It got worse and got to the point where it wouldn't spin at all. I tried to remove the pedal from the axle but I couldn't get it apart. Since the left one was jamming, the right one started to jam and didn't spin very well either. I was able to take the pedal apart. The bearings fell out.

Not easy. Doesn't seem overly reliable in quality or finish so I doubt their durability will be a strong point. But hey. They cost $13! They are definitely worth it in this price range. They are shaped and the pins are rounded and glossy lacquered. Due to the curvature of the support shaft, the center is higher than the rest of the pedal.
