I've spent 24 hours in 24 degrees Fahrenheit and bought this set to keep warm. The hand warmers work incredibly well, they are very warm and last at least 5 hours - they were the true MVPs of the trip. The toe warmers worked well too, although they only kept warm for about 3 hours. The body warmers were a disappointing part of the package. I've used these Grabber products before: once while waiting at night in Washington DC in January 2009 for a certain Presidential Inauguration (10 degrees). I also used them at the Ice Hotel in Quebec in February 2007 (-40 degrees with a cold wind). This series seems to offer the best value for money, although oddly I see them being sold individually in dollar stores for, you guessed it, $1. Tried the sock version without putting them in an enclosed environment (shoes/boots) and decided to see how long they would last outdoors.
