Finally a product that works!

I used this flexible wage "non-standard". I used it to seal the too short edge of the metal roof of my portable storage. I removed the corner trim, cleaned the top panel, glued this material to the metal roof and folded it over the hardboard trim. Then he put the skin back on and waited for the rain. And also. To my delight it worked! No more leaks!

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Only available in white

I generously award 4 stars. Got to .

I am giving 4 stars generously. This really should be 3 stars depending on your mood when trying to install this product. I just had a hard time making sure this product would stay on the joists. It tends to chip when you cut to seal the corners where the joists attach to the bezel or block. Otherwise if you just wrap this tape around the full length of the joist it will hold up fine. But even so, the bottom begins to ripple and loosen. Needs more stickiness.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Requires socket

Poor adhesion and thinner than expected Wimpy

Although there are some minor issues with this tape firmware which is Wimpy1. Thinner than expected. , Wimpy, has the feel and texture of Deck Seaming Tape.2. This is an excellent tool for "patching" over the hole in a synthetic roofing substrate. Or seam tape over synthetic underlay for rip/tear, wear and tear patterns.3. Not too sticky but sticks to itself very well.4. How and why is it marked? with possible nail placement, good luck deciphering the printed dotted lines and supposed white…

Works perfectly! for canopies

I was very impressed with this product. I used it to cover the tops of my joists on a deck that I was waterproofing. It was easy to work with and has held up well. I noticed the corners lifted up a bit, but they didn't lift past the tips. The only problem is that it is covered with an obtrusive pattern (product logo, etc.). Some of the tape is visible through the cutouts in the deck, so I had to use a magic marker to draw the white logo. For some reason this quickly ruined the marker so I used…

Would definitely use again!

Used to cover the tops of the joists on the above ground pool deck. It's very very sticky when applied and I found that using a hard rubber roller made it stick better after applying it to the tops of the joists in long strips. While I was building the deck, it took several weeks between attaching the flashing sheets until I actually got all the decks to shade the flashing sheet. In some places the blinking started to go away, but clicking it again fixed it with no problem. Now that it's been…

Excellent product in terms of the limited time frame

I certainly don't know how it will behave over time since I've just built my deck but I think time will tell. My rating concerns the ease of installation, the performance and the quality of the material. Goes down very easily. Simply peel and stick. Cut and fold excess material around the edges and corners. Very sticky. Adheres to both unpainted and painted wood. It won't stick to wood I've just coated with copper naphthanate. That is clear. After the copper naftanate had weathered for a few…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Easy maintainability

Allow a little more time/patience if working cool (50 degrees Fahrenheit)

Why only 3 stars? - This tape did not perform well on pressure treated wood in my cool/humid climate (less than 50 F / 25 C Pacific Northwest). Grace's literature claims it's good on any surface up to 25F. My experience is that Grace marketers exaggerate. Installation tips that worked for me - I kept the rolls indoors (room temperature) until ready to use. I also used a heat gun (industrial blow dryer) to heat the bond between the tape and the wood while squeezing the tape down with a hard…
