This foil works well for masking if you're not trying to paint too much detail. I say this because foil tends to tear when positive areas are removed after cutting. I use it on a cold press board with gouache. The pot holder is very sticky and will remove the paper if you pull it too quickly. I prefer the original low tack brand "Frisket" which is stronger and can be moved around without tearing or breaking. Even low tack is sufficient for use with airbrush or wet painting.

Half of my materials were wasted trying to use this product. If you use this product without paint it could be an escapement product but I wasted everything trying to get it to work for the intended purpose of the purchase so I'm not sure. I will not buy this particular product again.
