Save your money: Equestrian

Leaks after first use. I even put the horse on a soft mat so he can stand up while soaking. Expensive foot product ran out 2/4 of the pack :(.

Works perfectly! Cheaper than soaking boots

For those who rarely need to soak these bags are great. They're heavy enough to withstand multiple soaks and are a lot cheaper than pre-soaked boots.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Some bugs

Tear holes in pocket in 5 minutes

Not thick enough for a horse's hoof. The bag is cut with a hoof within 5 minutes. Lost expensive soaking medicine before double packaging. Everything very difficult. Not recommended.

Easy to use and durable.

Used Velcro on a sports boot to attach the bag. The pouches will withstand at least four soaks on a softer surface. I secured the bag and let the horse graze in the yard. He walked slowly to the pasture and mixed the mortar and never played with it. I soak for 30-40 minutes each time.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons

Essential for soaking an abscess

Perfect for soaking an abscess and general cleaning of the foot before painting for show. I've used the same bag about 3 times and it still holds up. I used a little velcro around the middle/top to keep it from sloshing over the top.

Pros
  • This is amazing

Did the job! for sport

I couldn't get my horse to keep his foot in the bucket for more than 5 minutes and I needed a solution. These bags did it! I managed to soak his foot for a long time and the bag didn't break. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no smaller size. The pockets are HUGE for my little horse 14.2 sq. Because of this, I had to get a little creative.

ok if only your horse paws

of course i have a horse that misses getting up. He immediately put a hole in a paw. The pouch on the other hoof, which he doesn't touch, has survived several soaks. It's just a thick plastic bag. Maybe it's better to fold a couple of zippers in half. I used velcro to hold the soak packs. It worked great and was easier to put on and take off than duct tape.

Pros
  • decent performance
Cons
  • i will add later

Much more reusable than expected!

I bought a four pack to wet a warmblood's hoof after he stepped on a two inch nail. The mysterious nail ran almost parallel to the front of his right front hoof. The x-ray showed that the nail almost hit the coffin bone. The vet was worried he might get tendinitis. She ordered it to be soaked at least once a day and hosed down daily. The horse wears front shoes so I didn't expect the wet sleeves to hold up. He drilled a small hole in the first sleeve, but I sealed the sleeve with tape at theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Reliability
