It Makes Things Easy

I built a garden trailer. It makes hauling the trash down my steep, winding road a lot easier than with a trailer. If you currently use a trailer for this task, it will make your life easier. It's a bit pricey but worth it for me. One caveat, you may need an adapter to raise the can if you need to go up and down steep sections. My hitch is pretty low and raising it gives the can enough clearance during a class change. The figure shows the device and the adapter together.

Good carrier best in clutches

This is a much better way to carry my trash can on the freeway. My driveway is about a quarter mile long, so wheeling a can onto the street is quite a hassle. This adapter keeps the wheels off the ground and works well with my jeep. I had to trim the end of the stock a bit to line up the clutch hole with one of my receivers. I've also found that it puts a lot of pressure on it. on the front of the trash can. I put a piece of wood on the contact pad on the trash can and now the container drivesโ€ฆ

Doesn't fit my type of bin

Having a 600+ foot driveway I really need a convenient way to bring my bins back inside. I thought it would be my solution but ended up sending it back. The main reason was that the pole hole on my trash can was too narrow for a cart to fit in and lift. It didn't matter anyway because when I tried to put a pin in the basket, the holes didn't match. If I had kept it I would have had to drill holes to insert the pin. I like this concept, but it's not universal and they may need to tighten theirโ€ฆ

Almost perfect - doesn't work well on hills or with hitches.

I would give this one five stars for ease of use and build quality but overall I have to give it three stars because unfortunately the can holder is a few inches shorter and cannot be extended enough for easy riding with the can above. When cruising slowly over flat terrain, the berms are fine, but the second second when I'm on our hill or driveway, the berms scrape. If I'm not careful, the glasses will either have a worn bottom or bounce off the holder. I could probably buy an adapter to raise

It seems to work. Not impressed. I'll be back.

I struggled not to give this review a star. It seems to work. but I won't pay that much for something I would have to change to save! It arrived and I couldn't even assemble it properly as the build quality control is so weak the screw holes don't protrude from the packaging so I could only test it in one position, it's the lowest height setting. (I would have to redrill all the other holes to use different settings). As some others have pointed out, the holder maximizes the width of the holder

Works well but could use some tweaking.

Doesn't work on my Polaris Ranger 570 Full Size (requires adapter to increase hitch height) but does work on my 2013 F-150 4x4 and 2018 Jeep Wrangler. I understand this item will not work with low ride height vehicles. I suppose you can buy additional adapters, but who wants to spend more money on such a simple device? Only the price keeps me from giving 5 stars. Update: I've been using it weekly for two years now and it's still working the same as the day I got it. A very good product if yourโ€ฆ

  • Some issues

I wouldn't say I'm VERY disappointed with this product. In general, the design is very poor, wobbly and unstable. VERY overpriced for what it is. There are a few things I would do differently if I were designing this. Difficult to use, snap and unlock. Very unintuitive. It puts some serious pressure on the can under the hook that could easily be relieved with a flat sheet of metal welded to it. Yes, I don't think so. I have around ยฃ50 in the bank and I'm worried about depositing more. It's soโ€ฆ

Hitch Spine Storage

As I was contemplating building some sort of monster furniture truck/wagon/hitch from random parts from the local hardware store, I saw an ad for this product. I won't use the phrase "life changes" but my life has changed so much that I no longer have to hoist a full trash can into the back of my truck once a week. Description and video are pretty accurate. on - it does as advertised. I decided to spray silicone grease on the little release button since I'm lazy and now live on the back of myโ€ฆ

Good product, needs some tweaking for my setup

I picked up this bin transporter a few weeks ago and originally wanted to return it. Out of the box it didn't work on my setup. Got this for my Polaris Ranger similar to the product pictured and immediately realized my hitch receiver was too short. I did other things and then came back to it and figured out how it works. Firstly, as the description says, you will need an adapter if your hitch receiver is too high or too low. Mine was too low (about 10 inches I think) and also the Ranger drawerโ€ฆ
