I don't have a window frame, but this material makes a great all-purpose cord. It is much easier to work with than cheap polypropylene or manila/hemp. If you need something lighter, a lampshade cord is just the ticket.

It's like the old school quality clothing line we had as kids. Works well. Very little sag and holds clothespins properly. other brands stretched so thin that they ended up tearing, leaving clothes on the floor.

I have an old house with adjustable windows and couldn't find any cord to replace the broken cord in the windows. It's perfect, just like the old clothesline I grew up on - a wonderful product!

Beautiful reinforced durable window sash rope. I used a clothesline before. I wish I knew about this rope. When the clotheslines break, I replace them with these things, which brings significant benefits. No stretch. Highly recommended

3 windows needed repairs where the sash cable ended up snapping. It takes some effort to disassemble and install the window. Replaced the broken rope with this one - no stretch, easy to tie and stay tied. Home Depot stopped shipping this item 5 years ago

I didn't complete that 100 feet until the return window was closed or I sure would have done it. As the saying goes, a chain "or rope" is only as strong as its weakest link. View photos and decide. Opened this thread today. And this error is straight from the factory.

This line is solid and I haven't noticed much stretch. Use it to replace a clothesline knocked over by a falling tree. Works great and is thicker than coated line. Goodbye. Oh, and I've seen so many people talk about other smelly lines, this one doesn't smell. Good quality.
