Bought this last Christmas hoping to find a good alternative to the standard non-stick coating. You are so wonderful! A more conscious choice with ceramics. They cook well, clean as a dream, and I don't have to put so much stock in them to use metal utensils. I wash them regularly in the dishwasher and haven't had any problems. A year later, they're still as non-stick as they came out of the box. No chips or scratches. Highly recommended.

I like this cookware because I have two parrots and am concerned about their safety and health. So far in all my research I have found that this should be safe for my birds. Cooked several times, no problems with peeling or sticking. I gave up a very expensive pot set that I loved and kept for years. So far I'm happy with the quality and all my reading seems safe for my feathered friends. I will sacrifice some quality if I have to for my kids but so far happy with my purchase.

Don't buy these pans! I'm incredibly disappointed. I am very clean and wash pots immediately after use. These pots are very poorly made! As you can see from the first picture, this is NOT non-stick. I greased the pan with olive oil beforehand and the eggs were still stuck to the pan. Not only that, you can see fat from previous dishes sticking to the top of the pan! A few years ago my wife and I went for nice stainless steel cookware. They are wonderful to cook with! I was so happy to receive these pots and pans. I've been using Target inexpensive skillets for years and finally decided to treat myself to some nice cookware for the first time. I did my research and couldn't wait to use it. Only after 6 months did all the pans start to stick. I've had them for 1 year now and absolutely EVERYTHING sticks to the pans (see photo after boiling the eggs). There is no non-stick coating at all. These pans are still admired today. I cook (and bake) a lot. I've occasionally had a few ceramic coated items over the past few years. I bought a set of Calphalon Try Me pans and was disappointed because the coating didn't hold up even though I was very careful. I have a small Green Gourmet pan that holds up well.
