Can't beat that with a stick.

Have been using this for a year now on my home built 1000w 48v e-trike - still solid and reliable - the only thing that could affect its longevity is bad hose clamps and nut/bolt for the joint . BUT, having said that, I really think $35 and installing two clamps is overkill.

Pros
  • Still happy so far
Cons
  • Negative impression

Easily mounts to Mongoose Dolomite Gearmotor

Thick quality steel. The Dolomite front hub does not need to be modified. I haven't had any accidents, but since I overloaded my hub motor after downgrading, I took some precautions. Grin tech is a reputable shop with good products. I highly recommend their products!

  • Absolute Legend
Cons

best torque arm but overpriced

Torque arms are a must for front wheel drive bikes. I've used the cheaper ones with no problems, but they didn't work on the Gravity Monster fatbike. The torque arm I got with my ebike front hub was too short to work with my front fork and it was the only one that worked. It is recommended to use 2 clamps, but only one will do. It's obviously better quality than other hands, but the price is ridiculous for what you get.

Reaction arms that really work and match the axle.

If you're building an e-bike, you need these reaction arms. on the axis. These torque arms work well, just order the right one, front or rear, and enjoy your e-bike without worrying about axle twisting. thread lock. Yes, I recommend these torque arms!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Some complications

Ideal for sports and outdoor accessories

This is my second purchase of Grin Technologies torque arms and I am very happy with both. I bought an AW brand geared motor which you can find here: AW 26"x1.75" Front Wheel 36V 800W Brushless Hub Motor Electric Bike Conversion Kit Dual Mode Controller Outdoor Fit PERFECT! Not loose at all and not so tight that I have to use any tools to install it - it fits perfectly clean. I have a similar experience with my previous Grin Tech Torque Arm purchase regarding the rear tire, great fit! I…

Green makes the best things.

Maybe I would use cheap eBay torque arms to build an e-bike by hand. If like me you love acceleration and speed and then find your front wheel spinning then you will be scaring kids for the rest of your life and you may be paying for quality and safety. Especially with the front wheel hubs. Grin also has many tutorials available online that you will find helpful, and they are always available to answer email questions about using their products. If you have a steel fork with a fender lug, check

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly

Nice piece of steel

Nicely made - looks much stronger than the cheaper Chinese stamped metal imitations. But not very versatile in terms of fit. I tried it out on the Mongoose Dolomite, a very popular fat tire bike often used for electric conversions. On the wire side, my hub motor had a torque disc pre-installed. It was difficult to take them off due to the way it was connected, so I tried the other side where the disc brake is. The disc brake gets in the way no matter how hard you try to install this thing. If…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Useless features
