The top coil wire is too close to the head of the nail, it landed right on the top feed pins. If the wire is between the top and bottom feed fingers where it should be, the nail heads will not be in their grooves and you will not be able to close the mechanism. So I had to slide it over my fingers which resulted in 80% misfeeds. This is a siding/fence gun designed for 1-1/2 inch nails.

I replaced 50 year old cedar shingles with Hardi shingles and used these nails exclusively for shingles (and other SS nails for finishing). The nails were applied with Bostich N66C. There were a few congestion and double fires, but well under 1%. The jamming occurred because a piece of wire connecting the nails became pinched between the bar hitting the nail and his body.
