The bristles are too soft to do anything, don't help picking up pet hair, so I bought them and the carpet doesn't look any better. It's just a big waste of money! I bought a manual brush as an add on and it was much better. Look for rakes with plastic rather than nylon bristles. I've learned my lesson.

The product did not match my neighbor's exact make and model. This neighbor has a one-piece handle and two rows of nylon tines. The one they sent had a three-piece handle that fell apart easily and just one row of nylon prongs. It was junk and I returned it the day after I received it for a full refund. Love love love this. I have a dog that loses an awful lot and this is a lifesaver. I have a fancy pet vacuum and when I first used this brush I collected half a can of dog hair after vacuuming the floor before using the brush. The grip is very weak so don't expect to be able to squeeze it hard but other than that it's a fantastic product.
