Pros: Smooth mash Good size, decent construction and not very difficult to clean On the other hand: it could have been a bit more forgiving of the larger material it's made of, somewhat light and can easily bend, deform or spring. If it was too much for you, you should smooth out or round off the various edges.

So far I've been using it for squeezing tinctures and oil infusions. Works great for that. As soon as potatoes are available we will use them for bulk gnocchi preparations (we cook and freeze them for quick meals). Heavy duty and well made. If you're not interested in a big and heavy tool, this isn't for you. If you want something that will last, this seems to be the ticket.
